There is the possibility of a compatibility issue with the SD card Use an SD card adapter to put the SD card into the computer. If the SD card is recognized: Download files you can using the adapter. Format the SD card. After the format, insert the SD card into the GoPro. Turn the camera on and reconnect the camera to the computer.
With the HERO8 Black, GoPro has bumped up the maximum available video bitrate to 100 Mbps. That brings it up in line with the DJI Osmo Action (that’s unlikely to be a coincidence). That highest bitrate is available in some of the resolution/framerate options, including 4K60 and 1080p240.

The GoPro Hero 8 Black has a RAW audio mode which allows you to get a separate audio file on the SD card from each video recording along with the audio that is saved with the video. My tests have 100% concluded that even with the RAW audio option this glitch is still apparent as the GoPro even splits the audio files!
