6. In the last installment of the Arkham trilogy we find out that the mysterious mercenary leader with an army who calls himself Arkham Knight is no other than. That would explain his training, abilities and knowledge of Batman, but it doesn't explain where he got such a huge army with several hundreds of drone tanks and helicopters. There would be no point. They would only do it to get to him. A lot of villains would be trying to go to people bruce loved to make him feel pain, but if he's not alive there's no point in doing that anymore, it's not really revenge because you're not taking anyone away from bruce you're just killing an innocent person bruce knew for no reason So near the end of the Arkham City video game Hugo Strange initiates a bomb countdown in Wonder Tower, Batman jumps out with Ra's al Ghul. As they are falling, Ra's takes his sword and stabs himself through, presumably attempting to kill Batman as well. Of course he fails and ends up just killing himself. Joker has killed his sidekicks, he's stolen Batman's fortune, and he's personally tried taking Batman's life. However, seeing Batman's twisted and bloodied corpse has the Joker's stomach churning, and it's causing his world to come crashing down around him. Batman is not perfect and Arkham Batman is not the same as the cartoons or the movies or comics. I played my playthrough as the ARKHAM Batman would and in Arkham City, he said he'll shut the lazarus pit himself if Ra's doesn't, so I'm just continuing what the character wanted to do. There's simply good written stories and bad written stories.
It doesn't make sense if you think about it since it'd be super obvious who the new Batman is. But supposedly now that he's pretended to die, he can operate as Batman using diluted fear toxin and be scary again while nobody will ever suspect the new Batman is the same guy as the old Batman, he's not going up to officers and talking with them or anything anymore, not talking with his allies
